ACD Advanced Equalizer#&153 is a professional, realtime, stand-alone, 15 band graphic equalizer product that does not require a host sound editing facility. The ACD Advanced Equalizer has its own, built-in, MP3 decoder engine .The Equalizer can be used with different input/output sources, such as CD Players, making it the ultimate tool for enhancing desktop audio listening pleasure. Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) is used by the equalizer routines in the program.The longer the FFT, the more accurate a sound reproduction the equalizer produces. The length of the FFT can be varied with a slider. The ACD Advanced Equalizer#&153 offers two spectrum analyzers, separately for left and right channels, and one central oscilloscope as a visual means of observing and controlling the workings of the system. The only additional software needed to operate the ACD Advanced Equalizer#&153 is a CD Player, like the one provided as part of the Windows 95/98/2000 Operating Systems (which you will find in the Windows Start up Menu in Accessories, Multi Media). Other CD Players can also be used.A Half Duplex, or even better, a Full Duplex Sound Card and a CD-ROM player is requiredThe Mp3 Educator#&153 is a tool to collect, organize and normalize your many Mp3 files. These files might originally have been recorded at different volume levels.The Mp3 Educator#&153 helps you to normalize the Mp3 files. This means that the volume of the MP3 files will be brought to the same peak level so there is no need to constantly change the soundcard mixer settings or player's volume control when you want to listen to different MP3 files. The program can also helps you rename the files once they are re-encoded. Many people encode their Mp3 files from CD, Tapes, LP or other sources, using file names such as "Track01.mp3", "Track02.mp3", etc. If you have such files, and they have an ID3 tag that stores the album name, track title,performer etc., Mp3 Educator#&153 can use the ID3 tag information and rename the file the way you want it. It is an excellent utility to keep your Mp3 files in order and to play them without unnecessary interruptions! The CD-ROM Performance Tester - CDDA Benchmark Program measures your CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and system performances while playing audio CD's through measuring Digital Audio Extraction (DAE). DAE is the method used to gather access to audio data in an audio disc. The faster and more problem-free your CD/DVD can read digital audio, the more reliable the program which makes use of DAE, will be. The program measures the speed of the DAE and the CPU usage during this operation. Many low end to middle performance computers are affected by DAE that it is almost impossible to perform other tasks on the computer during DAE operations. Also if the system's CPU is slow, the quality of the digital audio can be adversely affected by "drop outs".This software is for Windows95/98 only and will not work on Windows ME/2000
