Advanced NT Security Explorer Download
Advanced NT Security Explorer (ANTExp) is a password security test that's designed to allow Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP-based systems administrators to identify and close security holes in their networks. Advanced NT Security Explorer helps secure networks by executing an audit of account passwords, and exposing insecure account passwords. An administrator can also use it to recover any lost password and access a user's Windows account. Advanced NT Security Explorer works by analyzing user password hashes and recovering plain-text passwords. If it is possible to recover the password within a reasonable time, the password is considered insecure. This tool can also access a computer's hard drive from other computers in the network and attempt to hack into it for passwords.- The program has convenient user interface.
- Works on all 32-bit systems from Microsoft: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP
- You can interrupt the program at any time and resume its execution later from the same point
- The program is customizable: you can set the password length (or length range) and the character set to be used to generate the passwords
- The program can dump password hashes from Registry and from memory (even if SYSKEY is installed), or load them from file
- Very effective dictionary-based attack is available
- No special virtual memory requirements
- The program can run in the background mode
- The program is very fast: about 900,000 passwords per second (on Pentium-III/450 CPU)
